Gaps expose leadership weaknesses from "summary" of The Leadership Gap by Lolly Daskal
When gaps appear in our leadership, they have a way of shining a bright light on our weaknesses. Similarly, when a leader fails to communicate effectively, it can lead to confusion and conflict among team members. By addressing these gaps head-on, leaders can not only strengthen their own abilities but also create a more positive and productive work environment for everyone.- The key to addressing leadership gaps lies in self-awareness and a willingness to grow and change. By embracing feedback, seeking out mentorship, and continuously learning and developing new skills, leaders can begin to close the gaps in their leadership and become more effective and inspiring in their roles. It is only through this process of self-examination and growth that leaders can truly fulfill their potential and lead others to greatness.
