Healing begins from "summary" of It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han
We all have wounds that need time to heal, wounds that we try to hide from the world. But sometimes those wounds are so deep that they affect every part of our lives, no matter how hard we try to ignore them. When we bury our pain instead of dealing with it, it festers inside us, poisoning everything it touches. The first step towards healing is acknowledging that we are hurting. It's easy to pretend that everything is fine, to plaster on a smile and go about our days as if nothing is wrong. But that only serves to prolong our suffering. We need to be brave enough to face our pain head-on, to confront the demons that haunt us. Healing doesn't happen overnight. It's a slow and often painful process, one that requires us to be patient with ourselves. We may stumble and fall along the way, but that's okay. What's important is that we keep moving forward, even when it feels like we're standing still. As we start to heal, we may find that our relationships with others begin to shift. We may realize that some people are toxic to our well-being, while others are a source of strength and support. It's important to surround ourselves with those who lift us up, who encourage us to be the best version of ourselves.- Healing is a journey that we must undertake alone. No one else can do the work for us; we have to be willing to put in the effort if we want to see results. And while the road may be long and arduous, the destination is worth it. Because on the other side of pain lies peace, and the knowledge that we are stronger than we ever thought possible.
